Let's dive right in for those who might be new to Terramatris. We're a private crypto investment hedge fund operating from Tbilisi, Georgia. A quick disclaimer: investing involves risks, and it's crucial to do your due diligence before diving into any assets.
Many of you have asked for a detailed explanation of our trading strategy. At Terramatris, we focus on selling short-term options for Bitcoin and Ethereum with a target of high probability trades. Our approach involves a dollar-cost averaging investment in four key currencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Stellar Lumens, and USDC stable coin.
Risk management is at the forefront of our operations. We steer clear of high-risk trades and prioritize stable premiums, growing our portfolio organically. While we consider hedging with futures and implementing stop losses, we've yet to venture into these areas.
Now, the exciting part—our weekly results. As of December 14, 2023, Terramatris has reached an all-time high of $314.91, marking an impressive 8.55% week-over-week growth. This week posed a unique challenge as we experienced one of the first instances where we had to adjust our trade due to market fluctuations.
This week, we faced a market correction as Bitcoin dipped from $44,000 to $40,000. To navigate this, we executed a trade adjustment by rolling forward and down our position on Bitcoin from a strike price of $42,500 to $41,700. This move allowed us to downsize our risk while maintaining a positive cash balance.
Despite the market correction, we managed to grow our portfolio by almost 9%. Currently, we're keeping a close eye on key support levels, particularly around $38,000 and $30,000, as indicated by the 50-day and 200-day moving averages.
